A man of God used to earn only 40 dollars a month and he obediently gave a tithe, 4 dollars of his earning to the Lord.

The Lord increased his income from 40 to 400 dollar and the man of God was so pleased with his blesssing and he offered 40 dollars tithe to the Lord.

Now the Lord increased his earnings from 400 to 4000 dollars and the man of God delightfully offered 400 dollars as tithe to the Lord.

Later, The Lord again increased his earnings from 4000 to 40000 dollars and the Man of God was bit reluctant to give the tithe of 4000 dollars because he felt that was too much.

The man became restless and was bewildered of the amount to be given to the Lord.

He locked himself in his room and started praying to God.

And to his surprise, the Lord visited the man and told him, ''My son, I understand it's difficult for you to offer 4000 dollars of your earnings. Anyway you offer this amount this time and from next month onwards, I will reverse your earnings from 40000 to 40 dollars''
